Making music can be a wonderfully fun experience and many research findings have overwhelmingly determined that the study of music positively impacts those student's standardized academic tests/college admissions testing more so than students who didn't participate in music-arts related activities. Involvement in the creative process of learning to play music improves cognitive skills, self-esteem, personal focus, and discipline of students.
Mr. Brandon Bangle, MVA Director of Instrumental Music, is currently requesting all Montverde Academy middle-school students to, "whether you have experience or would like to learn, to stop by the new Sandra O. Stephens Fine Arts Building and see what music is all about." If interested in participating in musical study, students should contact him JLIB_HTML_CLOAKING or by phone at (407)469-2561, ext.287. After appropriate levels of instruction have been determined and rehearsal periods scheduled, students will be able to choose their preferred musical path of study with help from a wide assortment of string or band instruments options that include: violin, viola, cello, bass, flute clarinet, trumpet, trombone, saxophone, horn, and tuba. So don't hesitate, call Mr. Bangle and start making music today!
