2011 MVA graduate and Cleveland Indians first round pick Francisco Lindor has been named Minor League Player of the Week for April 30-May 6, 2012! According to a Cleveland Indians Press Release dated May 8, 2012, infielder Linder's award "recognizes an individual performance from within the Indians Player Development System and is announced each Tuesday through the end of the Minor League season. Lindor, 18, has hit .379 (11-29) with a 2B, 2 HR, 4 RBI and 5 SB in his last 7 games while posting

Montverde Academy 2011 graduate Steve Moundou-Missi is currently attending Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Steve is doing well and delighted to be at Harvard (the eldest higher-learning institution in the United States) where he is also a member of the Harvard University Men's Varsity Basketball team that has been ranked in the top 25 NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball rankings this season for the first time in the school's history.
