With the return to spring and warmer weather approaching, playing tennis is on the minds of many Floridians. This past weekend, 41 families participated in the 1st USTA sanctioned tournament held at Montverde Academy's ideal tennis facilities. Ripley Amell, owner and Executive Director of the National Tennis Academy, informs Montverde.net that at least six families participating in the weekend tennis tournament are very interested in choosing MVA for their children's tennis instruction and academic future. Amell also states, "NTA made it to the finals in four divisions G16's, B16"s, Consolation B16"s, G16's. We are very pleased with the event and look forward to another event later this summer as Mr. Kesselring's goals are to highlight this amazing sport venue. In our first year we attracted more players than other facilities that have had their events for four years." MVA is delighted to have the NTC as an educational activity option for our students and values our new partnership as we look forward to the prospect of working together to facilitate MVA academics in collaboration with the National Tennis Academy's superb tennis instruction.
