Lady Eagles Softball beat Master’s Academy 1-0

Assistant Lady Eagles softball coach Kelly Golden reports to Montverde.net that our Lady Eagles beat Master’s Academy 1-0 as "The Lady Eagles won their second game of the season last night against Master's Academy! It was a very close game with Montverde winning 1-0. The Lady Eagles scored in the 2nd inning when Alexina Mora hit a double and then Destiny Moye drove her in with a single. The Lady Eagles defense was outstanding with Dominique Johns leading the way on the mound. She had 13 strikeouts and only gave up one walk and one hit. The other outstanding hitters for Montverde were Stephanie Nuzzo(1-2), Emily Martin (1-3 with a walk), Taylor Dotson (1-3) and Hannah Futo (1-3). The Softball Team is back in action Tuesday, Feb. 21st at home against Ocoee at 6:00pm. Please come out and show your support!"
