Montverde Academy Women’s Soccer Team’s Inaugural Season a Success

Montverde Academy Women's Soccer Team completed their first-ever season by avenging their only home loss in defeating The First Academy on the road in Orlando, Florida, early this month. In celebration of such a great season, the Eagles Lady soccer team held a special end of the season soccer party on Thursday, January 19th, 2012, at the new courtyard outside at the Montverde Academy Alumni and Development Office. Lady Eagle's Head Coach Robbie Aristodemo reports to Montverde.net, "We had a great season and we all want to thank everyone that came out and supported our team. I am looking forward to next season and trying to continuously build what we have started." For those who saw the team in action, it was very obvious that a high standard of soccer team excellence was created this season as confirmed by an impressive 14 wins, 2 losses and 1 tie final record. The Lady Eagles also scored 91 goals and gave up only 16. The soccer team also achieved 12 shutouts during the course of the season.
