Please make plans to attend the final meeting of the 2011-2012 Parents Association. The event will be a brunch on Thursday the 24th. We will be celebrating our very successful year, recognizing our volunteers and voting for next years' members.

Uniform Swap

Last month, the MVA PA enjoyed another successful uniform swap, thanks to the efforts of Debbie Grayford and her team of volunteer parents. The uniform swap allows parents and staff to purchase used MVA uniforms for as little as $5 for some items.
At the beginning of each summer, parents turn in uniforms that their child has outgrown. They receive “Montverde credit” for each article swapped in good condition. At the end of each summer, they use their “Montverde credits” to purchase well-fitting uniforms at the Uniform Swap. This program saves Montverde families hundreds of dollars every school year.

The Montverde Academy Parents' Association ("MVA PA") mission is to support the Academy, and its students and faculty, through special events and assistance with school programs, that increase the Academy's success for student growth in the areas of knowledge, character, and community.
